CASE STUDIES

The areas in which our society would benefit from a CAGE intervention are too numerous to list, or even fathom.  CAGE has completed the following case studies to date, and has close to 200,000 pages of supporting documents accumulated in support of its positions.

The case studies were chosen for the clarity of the issues at hand, predictability of outcome base on historical examples, and percentage of population affected.

There are many instances of nanny-statism and government mission creep that CAGE can only site in support of its positions, but cannot devote any time to researching due to the low number of victims involved.  For example, when a Montreal Island municpality tells a family that they can no longer park their own car in their own driveway because they converted their garage into a living room, we at CAGE can only shake our heads and add it to the list of examples of excessive government control and regulation.  The same for Newfoundlander Doug Warren, who was recently asked, or rather "told", to tear down his daughter's treehouse because it was not up to the national housing code.

Supporting documentation can be found here at Documents , or obtained by request.
